Starting football and don’t know what you need? Here’s your no-stress checklist to get you pitch-ready from head to toe.


🧢 Headgear (Optional but Useful)

  • Headband or skull cap (to manage sweat or hair)

  • Hat or beanie for cold-weather training


👕 Shirt / Jersey

  • Breathable training top

  • Match jersey (with number if required)

  • Long-sleeve base layer (for cold days)


🩳 Shorts

  • Lightweight football shorts

  • Compression shorts or tights (optional for support & comfort)


🧦 Socks

  • Long football socks (cover your shin guards)

  • Extra pairs for training and matches

  • Grip socks (optional, for traction inside boots)


🛡️ Shin Guards

  • Must-have for matches and most training

  • Sleeve or strap style depending on comfort

  • Always worn under your socks


👟 Football Boots / Cleats

  • Firm Ground (FG) for natural grass
